“Sushi Kaiseki” is a style of Kaiseki cuisine, a little different from Edo-mae (nigiri) sushi, so that you can experience traditional Kaiseki dishes and Kaiseki-style sushi all together.

Kaiseki style sushi involves multiple components, including Masu-sushi – sushi in small dishes, Mushi-sushi (steamed hot and straight off the grill sushi) and Boh-sushi (roll-shapred sushi with cured or cooked fish).

Brushstroke and chef Yamada are now introducing “Sushi Kaiseki” which concept has never been in NYC yet from Japan.
