Ichimura at Brushstroke

At our sushi bar chef Eiji Ichimura serves traditional edo-mae sushi in an intimate setting. Initially trained in Tokyo Chef Ichimura has been honing his craft in New York City for over thirty years, experimenting with aging and curing the wide range of seafood available here to bring out a surprising depth and complexity of flavor.

This master chef’s omakase menu starts $195, with Chef Ichimura improvising and tailoring the menu to each individual customer.  Offerings change daily depending on seasonal availability or unusual or rare items that have arrived.

Seating in the sushi area is extremely limited, and reservations must be made by reaching us at 212-791-3771. Ichimura reservations are accepted in two seatings at 6pm and 9pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
