Be transported to Japan, the Himalayas in China, Peru and France through a global celebration of science and cuisine at Bouley Botanical.
Join Chef David Bouley and Dr. Jennifer Kraker, MD for a culinary tour of unique indigenous culinary practices and the correlates of mental health. The experience is part of “The Chef and the Doctor”– our series of health-focused, multi-course culinary experiences featuring world renowned doctors and Chef David Bouley.
Dr. Kraker, a Columbia and Cornell trained mental health and nutrition expert, will dive into the nutritional biochemical properties of ingredients like nori, green tea, Golgi Berries and maca root and their respective bearings on depression, stamina, mood and energy. Dr. Kraker’s presentation will be followed by a multi-course dinner created and prepared by Chef David Bouley inspired by these indigenous cultural practices and served with a beverage program by Beverage Director Adrien Falcon.
