Winemaker dinner with Samuel Tinon of Tinon Winery at Bouley Chef’s Pass
Part farmer, part historian and part winemaker Samuel Tinon from the legendary volcanic wine region Tokaj, Hungary and Chef David Bouley will team up one night only for an unforgettable gastronomic experience. Bouley’s “Danube” was a restaurant ahead of its time and Samuel’s little known, priceless wines give Chef Bouley reason again to explore this exciting cuisine. The savory menu will be paired with a selection of exclusively white wine, each in its own way will be perfumed, exotic, textured; and dry or sweet, allow Chef maximum creativity in the kitchen. Mesmerized by the wines Tinon an expatriate Frenchman, decided to settle in Tokaj to raise his family shortly after the post-Communist re-privatization of Hungary in the early 90′s. Steeped in both soil and history the beauty of Tinon’s wines are matched only by his inspired personal story. Please join us for this exceptional thought provoking dinner.
