The Count of Monte CristoThe Three Musketeers and The Grand Dictionary of Cuisine? Join us for a literary and culinary journey through Bouley Test Kitchen. Your experience begins in a focused room within Bouley Test Kitchen where you and a member of the Bouley Culinary team will enact recipes from the great French writer Alexandre Dumas’ 1,150-Page Cookbook, published posthumously in 1873.

The experience will continue in the Test Kitchen with a literary version of “The Chef and the Doctor” with Dr. Suzanne Garfinkle – Founding Director of the Academy for Medicine and the Humanities at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai – and Dr. Michael Berman. Drs. Garfinkle and Berman will explore poems and passages from literature about food, and discuss the bearing that culinary literature has on the brain and body. This presentation will be followed by a literature-inspired, multi-course healthy dinner created by Chef David Bouley with a corresponding wine program by Beverage Director Adrien Falcon. Reserve quickly, as limited seats are available!
