Doctors partnered with the “Chef and the Doctor series” believe inflammation is a crucial factor behind a wide variety of common health problems and chronic diseases from obesity and diabetes to heart disease and cancer. These doctors advocate the key to reducing chronic inflammation starts with your diet. A number of foods are well-known for their anti-inflammatory properties; understanding how specific dietary components influence the inflammatory process can go a long way toward preventing inflammation and reducing long-term disease risks. In this Bouley at Home cooking demo, you will learn how you can select and prepare anti-inflammatory foods for optimum taste and health.
Bouley at Home Cooking Class Demonstrations are recreational, fun and located in the heart of Manhattan’s Flatiron District. During an in-depth demonstration, students can ask the chefs questions about seasonal recipes, skills, techniques and health benefits. A 3-course 2-wine pairing lunch is prepared specific to each class subject with ingredients used during the demonstration. Bouley at Home Cooking Classes have a healthy, clean eating focus using pure and organic foods known for their added health benefits.
